Odd Fellows, Otto Lodge No. 324
The Otto Lodge, No. 324, I. O. O. F., was
instituted at Kingsley Station, town of Paradise, 8 April 1879. The
charter members were Charles A. Denniston, S. Cronkite, J. A. Hodges, W. F.
Gillet, Eldon Kingsley and L. Y. Coagdon. Ten new members were initiated
and two admitted as ancients.
Officers elected as followed:
N. G. ---- Charles A. Dennison
V. G. ---- S. Cronkite
Secretary ---- O. P. Carver
Treasurer ---- James Hodges
Warden ---- W. F. Denniston
Chaplain ---- M. W. Jackson
The gathering of the Odd Fellows at this time in 1879 is said to have been
the largest held in this region, upon a similar occasion.
